Ven. Dr. Yuan Liu

Sarvastivada, Yogacara

Ven. Dr. Yuan Liu received his PhD in Buddhist studies from the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies (University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka). His interest of research is mainly in the areas of Early Buddhism, Abhidharma and Yogacara studies and Sanskrit. Currently he is a lecturer at the Buddhist Academy of China (BAC) in Beijing and a visiting lecturer at the Buddhist College of Singapore (BCS) and the International Buddhist College (IBC).

Ven. Peerapong Sittithep

Thai Language and Culture, Science and Buddhism, Civilization, Buddhism and Other World Religions

Ven. Peerapong Sittithep graduated with a 1st Class Honors Degree in Philosophy from Chiang Mai University, 2009, and obtained an MA in Buddhist Studies at International Buddhist College, Thailand, 2012. He has completed courses of Abhidhamma Studies in Abhidhammajotika College, MCU, Thailand. Currently, he is a visiting lecturer at the International Buddhist College.

Ven. Dr. Zhen Jue

Yogacara

Ven. Dr. Zhen Jue studied Pali, Sanskrit, Tibetan and Buddhist philosophy. She obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. in the field of Buddhist Studies (University of Hong Kong, China). During her studies at the University of Hong Kong she has been working as a teaching assistant. Currently she is a visiting lecturer at the International Buddhist College.

Ven. Hui Ming

Chinese Buddhism

Venerable Hui Ming was born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1953. He is skilled at expounding the Buddha's teachings in multiple languages. The Venerable has propagated Buddhist thought in more than 60 countries worldwide. He has been propagating the Dharma for more than thirty years in Malaysia since his first visit in 1983.

Dr. Wasantha Priyadarshana

Buddhist Psychology

Dr. Wasantha Priyadarshana studied Buddhist Philosophy and Counselling. He obtained his Ph.D. in the field of Career and Educational Counseling (Colombo, Sri Lanka). He is teaching Buddhist Psychotherapy at the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies at the University of Kelaniya (Kandy, Sri Lanka) and is conducting various programmes related to Buddhist Psychotherapy. Currently he is a visiting lecturer at the International Buddhist College.

Dr. Nikolas Broy

Dr. Nikolas Broy obtained his M.A. (magister atrium, earlier German equivalent to BA and MA) and doctoral degree from Leipzig University, Germany in 2007 and 2014, respectively. Having been trained in both Religious Studies and Chinese Studies, his research and teachings links historical and ethnographic inquiries to comparative questions and theoretical frameworks, focusing on religion in Chinese societies, past and present.
