Semester Break Meditation Retreat

During the end year Semester break, from November 15 to 30, 2007, some IBC students had participated the Meditation Retreat at Patinissakko Meditation Center, Phuket.

The meditation is Vipassana (Insight), based on the systematic development of a precise and focused awareness. By observing one's moment to moment mind/body movement with investigative attention, insight arises. Through the wisdom acquired by using insight meditation one is able to live more freely and relate to the world around with less clinging, fear and confusion, thus one's life becomes increasingly directed by consideration, compassion and clarity.
