IBC Mitra Vegan Meal Box Project, 2021

Reported by Ven. Zhen Yuan

Amid the COVID-19 crisis, IBC promoted “meatless meals”, vegan meal boxes to nourish and to take care of our environment.

The purpose of offering vegan meal boxes was to abstain from harming living beings. Moreover, vegan food is a type of healthy meal that is suitable for all people.

This activity allows every member to wholeheartedly serve with love and compassion.

In the academic year of 2021, starting from 21-9-2021 to 26-3-2022, the IBC Sadao campus provided 3283 vegan meal boxes (fried rice 1702 & fried noodle 1581) to the Sadao Hospital and Padang Besar Hospital.

In Korat campus, Ven. Zhen Chan, with help from the kitchen and members, from August 2021 to March 2022, provided 3,200 vegan meal boxes to Maharaj Nakhon Ratchasima Central Hospital and 3,200 vegan meal boxes to Pak Thong Chai Hospital.

IBC received positive feedback and appreciation from the hospitals with warmth and smiles. Our commitment and ongoing contribution inspired them very much! The commitment of the IBC family has grabbed their attention and is most precious and appreciated.
