Presentation of Educational Assistance for Tertiary level students at Pakthongchai

Klintiendharm Foundation (Than Hsiang), International Buddhist College, Korat Education Center offered Educational Assistance to twelve students from different colleges and universities of Thailand. The Foundation extends its assistance as a part of its community service program which includes tuition fees, lodging expenses etc to achieve their goal in higher studies.

Ven. Zhen Chan, the Director of the Student Affairs, represented the most Ven. Wei Wu, the Founder of Klintiendharm Foundation, and briefed those attending in the history of Klintiendharm Foundation and International Buddhist College and how this sponsorship is funded and distributed. The Venerable thanked all the recipients on behalf of the Foundation and College for being given the opportunity of receiving this grant. Ven. Zhen Chan said he has confidence that the students will covet this funding in an effective way. Further, he assured that more sponsorships will be available to those students who excel in their personal and academic performances. He reminded the students of the great privilege of being the first group of students to receive financial assistance out side of our own College. Ven. Zhen Chan explained various ways of getting involved in different social community activities, as well as their studies. He also highlighted the opportunities of earning a living after their graduation to help support their families, the nation, and themselves.

The students were delighted to take a part in expressing their gratitude after achieving their scholarships and had great hope for the future.
