A Luncheon for the New Year Eve to Celebrate the Chinese New Year 2009 at IBC

(Jan 18, 2009) IBC students, staff, weekend school students and the devotees from neighbor villages gathered together to have the Chinese New Year Eve Luncheon at IBC's Auditorium.

The celebration started at 10 am. First, the weekend school students performed a Chinese dance and recited a classic Chinese poetry. Next, all Chinese samgha students chant mantra to bless anyone. After lunch, IBC chairman Ven. Wei Wu gave an Annual Report and Dharma sharing. At end, Ven. Wei Wu presented each of participates a red envelop. Some of the weekend school students also received their certificates.
