( IBC January 31, 2008 ) Ven. Wei Wu, IBC council chairman visited a High School in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand. The high school was located at remote frontier of Chiang Rai. It is a unique school - all students education from primary school to high school are taught in Chinese and Thai. The school was founded by Ven. Zhen Dun 18 years ago to provide free education for these students.

Touched by Ven. Zhen Dun’s compassion and his passion for education, Ven. Wei Wu promised those students, IBC will also support them for their further studies at IBC.

On the way to Qing Rai, Ven. Wei Wu also paid a visit to Dr. Tawee, who was one of the academic members in IBC and also a spiritual teacher for IBC students during the summer retreat 2006.
